As a contractor direct to a major nationwide hyperscale client acting as the main commissioning agent for a $300M+, 3/22-12/22 project located in San Antonio TX. This project supported client cloud services to the public at large and was one of several Data Centers on a campus of multiple Data Centers in which our data center commissioning services were utilized to fully commission a bank of generators and upstream and downstream electrical equipment. The cloud facility is a 100,000 sq. ft. single-story concrete tilt-up structure that maintains a 24-hour, 7-day-a-week operation.
As a contractor and member of the USACE CxA team responsible for Commissioning Oversight during construction for this design-bid-build project, responsibilities include reviewing all contractor submittals (equipment, factory test plans, all functional and integrated test plans), providing technical comments on all testing procedures to ensure technical and contractual compliance, participation in Functional and Integrated Systems Testing, supporting all site cx activities and meeting with the various stakeholders, contractors and vendors. Additional Construction Management services include providing reviews of mechanical drawings and specifications for contractor compliance with contract requirements, providing recommendations on resolutions to changes in design, providing input on RFI’s, evaluating contractor level of completion for installed systems versus submitted pay applications and schedule review.
As a contractor direct to USACE, acting as the Senior Lead Commissioning Engineer providing Commissioning Oversight for the construction division of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers on the Joint Operations Facility (JOC) project. This project supports customers within the Intelligence Community who have concurrent maintainability mission requirements and intensive mechanical, electrical and enhanced commissioning requirements. The JOC facility is a 242,000 square foot multi-level building that includes a 24-hour, 7 day per week Operations Floor, with a separate dedicated chiller and generator plant.
